Evogen ONE is a simple protocol and yields PCR quality DNA in about 25 minutes.  The chemistry utilizes a proprietary salt and surfactant formulation combined with heat to lyse the cell.  After extraction the DNA is kept in solution while cellular debris are pulled to the bottom of the tube.  Evogen ONE is ideal for routine DNA extraction. 

Evogen ONE UP is the ideal kit for samples such as blood, food, and soil which contain a high level of potential PCR inhibitors.  It is also the kit of choice for extracting DNA to use in sequencing and transfection.  The kit begins with the Evogen ONE lysis step and then utilizes a magnetic particle which binds the DNA allowing it to be washed.  The DNA is removed from the magnetic particles and eluted into a DNase free buffer.
